i do have a wedding package that the engagement session is included.
my other wedding package does not include an engagement session, but does include the rehearsal dinner.

i always suggest about 8-12 months before your wedding but honestly just depends.
for engagement shoots, i would say at least about 4-5 months before your wedding.
